A cable car that connects Shikoku 88 Temple No. 85 Fudasho Yakuriji Temple on the slopes of Mt. Goken connects 660m in total length and 167m in height difference in about 4 minutes. During the ride, you can see Yashima, which was the stage of the Genpei War. Yakuri-ji Temple, the final destination, is worshiped by the common people as "Yakuri-no-Oshoten-sama". |

八栗寺へのお参りに利用しました。15分毎にあります。聖観音様をお祀りしたお寺ですが、商売繁盛と良縁祈願に1日にお参りするのが良いそうです。かわいいケーブルカーで、景色も楽しめます。 上りのみ利用される人たちが多いようですが、お遍路の時には私は往復利用してます。

old cable. Yakuri is doing very well without Yashima's cable. There is almost nothing on the top of the mountain other than a temple, but there must be a certain amount of demand.

The only cable car in Shikoku, this route will satisfy both pilgrims and railway enthusiasts alike. It runs every 15 minutes. (However, it may be difficult to get there.)
公共交通機関で行くには行きは登り坂でしんどく感じます。途中に「水曜どうでしょう」で出た「うどん本陣山田家」があり、休憩と食事を兼ねて寄るのもアリと思います
