One of Shikoku's largest aquariums, revolving around the story of water and life |
|
|---|---|
Taking advantage of the location of Utazu overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, a next-generation aquarium with the theme of "Shikoku's waterscape" was born. You can experience the underwater world unique to Shikoku, which is blessed with nature, such as the seas in all directions, numerous clear streams, and countless ponds and marshes. The "Sea Pig Pool", where dolphins can be seen swimming with the Seto inland Sea in the back ground, The 650㎥ large water tank "Watatsumi no Kei" is also popular. There are restaurants and cafes where you can taste Shikoku's specialty gourmet, and an observation deck, so you can fully enjoy the seaside area.

I thought the contents were not as bad as the reputation on the internet. The dolphin show is on hiatus, but the training is open to the public and it's like holding a real performance. I thought that both freshwater fish and saltwater fish were sufficient as fish species. However, it was a pity that the tank for tiger sharks was muddy and the windows were small and it was difficult to see. I wonder if it could be moved to a larger tank.

I felt that the aquarium was carefully made. It is close to the natural scenery and some fish are hard to find, but it was very beautiful as an aquarium. About the kind of fish in the tank, you can mostly refer to it by reading the QR code on the side of the tank.

We have been there with a family of 5 during Silver Week. I got there around 10:00, but there was a long line. I killed time at the AEON nearby and lined up after 12:00, at that time I was told that we have to wait two and a half hours, but I got in in about an hour actually. Everywhere people... people... Even when buying souvenirs, people lined up inside and outside the store for nearly 30 meters without a social distance. The aquarium's parking lot costs 600 yen a day, but it's free if you use the nearby AEON parking lot. On this day, I was guiding to use only near AEON parking lot.

The interior is stylish and the atmosphere is very good. However, the atmosphere is so stylish that even if the map says "Kannazuki no Kei" on the map, I have no idea what's inside (lol). There are few staff, so I can't even ask. That was disappointing. Enjoy the atmosphere on a date → Shikoku Aquarium Deepen your knowledge and have fun with your family → New Yashima Aquarium I thought.

I don't know about other aquariums, but the admission fee seemed a bit high. At the end, I felt I had already been around the block. The aquarium was a bit dirty in some places (water stains and wipe marks). It was good that there were multiple types of jellyfish exhibits. I also really enjoyed seeing the penguins and dolphins up close.

I went there in the evening of Silver Week. The facility is clean and has a good atmosphere. I think that there are restrictions due to the corona crisis, but I thought it would be nice if there were more guidance from the zookeepers, experiences AND events. The surrounding environment is also good, so I think it would be nice if we could come easily with an annual pass.

I wanted him to do his best because he was local AND I had high hopes for him, but I wonder why he decided to set the price at 2200 yen with that kind of content. As in other posts, there are few descriptions of fish types AND more commentary should be included. Neither adults nor children know. Since there are advantages such as a good location, I think it would be better to increase the number of repeaters by reviewing the entrance fee, but I wonder if there is some kind of management strategy.

The building is small as expected. Re-entry is not possible. The deck on the 2nd floor was cool in the shadows and felt good! However, I will not go to the aquarium again after paying 2200 yen per adult. However, there are toilets inside and outside, so I didn't have to wait in line for a long time. There is a 500-yen gacha limited to the Shikoku Aquarium at the souvenir shop, but I gave up this time because I needed five 100-yen coins and there was no change machine...

It was a pity that there was no show or contact because of Corona. i really didn't know where the hammerhead shark was. There aren't many staff, so we had to ask the staff at the raffle booth on the second floor to find out. I got free points, so at least once. I went, but I don't think I'll go there for a while until I pay the list price. Looking forward to future shows.

As others have written, there are several kinds of creatures in the aquarium, but there is only one name AND there is something that I do not know which one. It's beautiful, but you can't learn from just looking at it. If you want to know, you should refer to the QR, but I got the impression that it was unkind to people who came to see living things normally.

I was able to go to an aquarium that I rarely go to when I was in Shikoku, so I enjoyed it. My one and a half year old daughter was very happy to visit the aquarium for the first time, so I'm glad I took her there. I felt that there were still some unfinished parts, such as the dolphin show, so I look forward to the perfection of the show in the future.

There were no show events as part of infection prevention, but the wide range of exhibitions of seawater and freshwater fish and aquatic organisms in the Shikoku water system is more than expected and is worth seeing. The only drawback is that the flow line is difficult to understand and the explanation of the creatures is poor, but the small-clawed otter and Cape penguin are so cute that I am glad I went to see them.

For some reason, only one type of name is displayed even if there are many types swimming in the tank. It was an aquarium that was completely unsatisfied with my thirst for knowledge and academics, as I couldn't answer even if my child asked me. However, there are some spots that are photogenic, so I think it's perfect for those who are not interested in the type of fish and focus on taking stylish photos. The flow line is bad AND there are only horse mackerel and other fish around AND there are no exhibits that children will be happy with, so it is especially recommended for those who are Instagrammer rather than families. The dolphin show is like watching a kindergarten recital with a warm heart. There is no such thing as a highlight, this price for this content... I'm a local, but I don't think I'll be visiting again.
It focuses on the aquatic animals of Shikoku. The name is also Shikoku Aquarium, so it was interesting for me personally. It is also a good plan to see newly born jellyfish and newts! It is designed to look at real creatures and use smartphones to investigate the questions that arise. The sunset dolphin show is a must-see! With the Seto Inland Sea in the background, it's beautiful! ! Recommended for families with young children.
