A long-established inn in Dogo loved by writers and artists |

Boasting a history of more than 3,000 years, Dogo Onsen is one of Japan's three oldest hot springs. The large public baths that draw the source are Hinokiyu and Mikageyu. Each has an open-air bath and a sauna. The simple alkaline spring water is gentle and smooth, and is said to be good for hot spring cures and beauty treatments. After the meal, take a stroll through the Japanese garden "Eifu-tei," which Shiki Masaoka loved, enjoy a variety of Japanese and Western lunches, and enjoy the leisurely Dogo time.
