Miurato Village is an art museum completed in 1998 based on the idea of Tamotsu Miura, the founder of the Miura Group. While collecting works of art, Tamotsu Miura also devoted himself to a wide range of artistic activities, including pottery, ceramic panel painting, and calligraphy. In particular, the ceramic panel painting was named "Miurato" by an expert for a production technique that was uniquely devised. At the museum, the "Miurato" group is exhibited outdoors along with the works of artists from Japan and abroad. A distinctive art space is spreading. In the museum, we hold spectacular exhibitions from time to time, including works by artists related to Ehime Prefecture.
